Le président Paul Biya, au pouvoir depuis 43 ans, a fixé la date de l’élection présidentielle au 12 octobre. Plusieurs candidats se sont déjà déclarés, mais Biya n’a pas encore annoncé s’il briguerait un nouveau mandat.
